ADA Information

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services is committed to providing accommodations necessary to allow individuals with disabilities to effectively and safely function in the work and correctional facility environment. The office of the ADA Coordinator responds to all requests for accommodation/s from DCS employees, inmates and the public. It is also responsible for the development, review and revision of Departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance. This Division is responsible for the Return To Work policy which assists employees injured on or off the job, or who have an illness that affects their ability to perform their job, to return to work in a modified status.
