May 4, 2023 (Omaha, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Omaha (CCC-O) was taken into custody April 27, 2023. Troy Hollins #83306 was arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hollins went missing on January 15, 2023, when he removed his electronic monitor near CCC-O. He started his sentence on December 22, 2015. Hollins was sentenced to 15 to 20 years for attempted robbery out of Douglas County. He has a parole hearing scheduled in June 2023 and a tentative release date of March 19, 2026.

CCC-O is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
