Eight ladies from the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW) completed the EMPWR class presented by Ruth Karlsson's Release and Restore program.

EMPWR showed these women that they do not have to be defined by their crime. They learned how to improve their self-image, how to reduce negative effects from both physical and cognitive triggers, and discovered many other self-improvement techniques that will help them become valuable contributors to the community.  They have been empowered.
