NCCW Volunteer named SCC "Teacher of the Year"

A volunteer at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women (NCCW) was recently named Southeast Community College's (SCC) “Teacher of the Year."
Amy Doty teaches a writing group with incarcerated women at NCCW, through which she has created a blog to help them share their stories.
"It is a very amazing project for the ladies, as they have been able to deal with some of the things that are very important to them," Administrative Assistant Lori Keller said. "Amy is an amazing person and has been an inspiration for many."
