On Friday, Governor Pete Ricketts and the Nebraska Broadcasters Association (NBA) will highlight a major flood relief drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. The statewide “#NebraskaStrong Drive for Flood Relief” is led by NBA member radio and TV stations who are asking their audiences to donate to the American Red Cross to aid the ongoing recovery efforts.

A phone bank will be open from 5:00am through 11:00pm on Friday to facilitate donations.

To donate on Friday, call toll free: 1-844-278-8555.

This phone line will only be available on Friday, March 22nd.

Eleven Nebraska Department of Correctional Services teammates graduated from our Emergency Preparedness Instructor five week course today.

Individuals from eight different facilities now have the proper training to educate other staff about preventing emergencies from happening and more.

"I thought I knew a lot about emergency preparedness, but going through this class has been humbling and taught me a lot," said Ryan Gibreal.
