Second Alpha class at OCC graduates

Second Alpha class at OCC graduates

The second Alpha class at the Omaha Correctional Center (OCC) graduated on Feb. 13.
Alpha is a 12-week self-help course based on Biblical concepts. Each class consists of three volunteers, approximately four core members (graduates of the program) and about twenty participants. The program utilizes a meal to show the equality of each individual, various videos on the subject of each lesson, a lecture by a volunteer and then small group discussion. Midway through the course, there is Day of Reflection. The class ends with a graduation and meet and greet for the new class.
Congratulations, Alpha grads!
