The Veterans Club at the Omaha Correctional Center celebrated its annual Veterans Day Symposium last month. The club, compromised of both veterans and supporters, came together to recognize the service of all veterans and those who supported them and conducted a Change of Command Ceremony. The men celebrated their brotherhood, enjoyed each other’s company with a special meal and welcomed several guests and volunteers. 

The men expressed how important the club is to them, giving them the sense of community they knew while they served in the military. They continue to support each other with the special understanding of shared experiences and common interests to serve.
