WEC food service workers earn food handlers permits

Twenty-three incarcerated individuals at the Work Ethic Camp (WEC) recently earned food handlers permits.
Each individual participated in class and passed a written exam to earn their permit, which is good for three years.
“This was a great opportunity for them,” said WEC Food Service Director Clarice Shields. “They have furthered their education and having this will help in the job market.”
Congratulations!
