February 19, 2023 (Lincoln, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) is back in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS). Dakota Parrott #88558 disappeared on February 17, 2023, when he did not return to the facility from his job in the community. He turned himself in the next morning (February 18, 2023) and was transported to the Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln.

CCC-L is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
