Facility Maintenance Leader John Kowalski checks out tools at the Community Corrections Center-Omaha (CCC-O).

Kowalski has been with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) since 2009. His job duties include overseeing all facility maintenance and landscaping. 

“If I don’t fix something, it affects the quality of life at the facility,” Kowalski said. “I want to ensure incarcerated individuals have the best quality of life they can have.”
