OCC: Celebrating 40 Years
OCC: Celebrating 40 Years
The Omaha Correctional Center, or as known to the community as OCC, opened its doors 40 years ago on April 24, 1984. Since its opening, OCC has played a vital role in the state’s criminal justice system. Over the past 40 years, OCC has been dedicated to providing rehabilitation opportunities for incarcerated individuals.
With a focus on education, vocational training, and mental health services, OCC aims to help individuals reintegrate into society successfully upon their release. Through various programs and initiatives, the Omaha Correctional Center strives to create a supportive and constructive environment for those in its care.
As we reflect on the 40-year milestone of the Omaha Correctional Center, we recognize the importance of ongoing efforts to promote positive change and create a brighter future for all individuals involved in the justice system. The dedication and hard work of team members, volunteers, and community partners have been instrumental in shaping OCC into a place of hope, healing, and positive change. Here's to the next 40 years of empowering individuals to reintegrate back into society with safety and purpose. #PhysicalPlant #40years #Celebrate #TRANSFORMNebraska
