Team members from NDCS facilities across the department gathered this month to develop a solid foundation of leadership skills at the First-Level Leader Academy. Each brought unique experiences, but all shared something in common—an eagerness to step up to a new level of leadership.

Throughout the training program, team members learned to establish a leader’s mindset, lead through change, create a culture of feedback and manage their time and energy.

During graduation, participants shared the most impactful thing they learned and how they will bring this back to their teams to make a difference.
