November 20, 2020 (Tecumseh, Neb.) – Robert Ward #58491, age 70, died shortly before 10:00 a.m. today at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). His sentence started on April 18, 2003. He was serving a life sentence on a charge of first degree murder out of Dawson County.

While the cause of death has yet to be determined, Ward was being treated for a medical condition. As is the case whenever an inmate dies in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
