On April 30, Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI) celebrated its second K9 graduation. Six Handlers received certificates of completion and two Handlers became certified trainers. TSCI Handlers have found a great sense of accomplishment and passion for this program. Twenty-three Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) team members graduated from the NDCS Leadership Academy on May 4. This was the 10th Leadership Academy cohort, and graduates boasted a combined 252 years of experience. Nebraska National Guard Major General Daryl L. Bohac spoke to Leadership Academy students and other NDCS team members about both effective leadership and good fellowship.
