Congratulations to former NDCS Director Harold W. Clarke. This past week he was a co-recipient of the 2019 Clements Award.

The Clements award was created in 2015 to honor the memory of Tom Clements, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Corrections, who was killed in the line of duty in March 2013.

Harold Clarke is currently director of the Virginia DOC. He worked at NDCS from 1974 to 2005 and served as director from 1990 to 2005.

Director Clarke received his award during the recent CLA All Directors Symposium in California.Read more
